In my experience, sunglasses only help in certain situations. I think this is a case where the ball went directly into the sun and for that the sunglasses don't help.

there's one measly cloud behind CF

that's why you don't give your A lineup a day off in a fucking series winning night game

ballgame

Its like you havent watch a game all season.

Pretty awful swing there with 2 strikes, by Mune.

Noah's line is now very ugly, thanks to Kelenic and Meidroth right now.

I’m not the one being dumb because you wanted the Sox to punt a day game because they are 7-11 in them, two of which were in the first series.

whos prediction is looking better right now, lol

meidroth can't catch a damn routine flyball because there's a sun in the sky

This game for Noah is mostly defined by unbelievable luck by the Angels with soft contact. But for the rest of the game, I'm watching the sweeper. He still isn't locating it well at all and it's making him more predictable than he should be. He either misses it badly or throws it up in the zone when he appears to be aiming for the back foot. That's part of why D'Arnaud felt comfortable going up there and waiting for a high 4-seamer.

Has to get ahead in counts...pitching 101

I dont know if I've ever seen a pitcher have that bad of luck in any inning ever. Capture.PNG

I say this optimistically, but he’s nowhere close to what he can become. His command is still awful.

Schultz is pitching like a guy whose career high is 84 innings in a minor league season...

still very inexperienced

Go back and watch some Aaron Bummer innings from a few years ago, lol

So does Colson lose 5 runs of DRS?

Hold up, Meidroth already had sunglasses with him!?

Bummer didn't generally have guys drop transfers and pop ups. He got squibbed to death.

Montgomery drop and Kelenic with two ill advised plays in RF

then the Meidroth sun ball

I would have liked Colson to make that throw but TBH I thought it was not clear that the runner would be out because of how slow-developing the play was

Oh and correct me if I'm wrong, but did Kelenic giving up the extra base end up changing things very much? At least a couple more baserunners after that, right?

anyone on the west side just hear 9 shots around douglass park? guess there are some sox fans around here

At times, Noah looks AAA today leaving some hangers up in the zone. Very disappointing game so far leaving bases loaded, missing a double play, the dropped infield fly. Otherwise a day off and back at home. I wanted this series to keep momentum going into a home stand that includes 3 against the Cubs.

Good comeback inning.

Magic bullet part II?

Just noticing that Noah hasn't really thrown his cutter where he wants it today either. Got an out throwing one down the middle that last inning, but he hasn't really used it much

Teodosio would have scored even from first on the ball that rattled around the corner.

In theory last run doesn't score if Kelenic holds him to first but that would have been a tough ask

just shouldn't have been a triple

running with two outs from second runner still probably scores there on Trout sun ball

The Panicans are coming, Tra la la, Tra la la.

Brutal DP by Benintendi.
