Sox now have a Big Three. Mura, Vargas and Colson.

Colson looked like he was a bust before he went to AZ last year. Then he came up and was awesome the last half of the season. This year he was doing great and then he went south. He has the bat speed and tools; it's almost like he needs a 6-month checkup to get straighten out.

Colson Montgomery hit career HR #35 today, in career game 128. Fastest to 35 in Sox history, beating Abreu by 5 games.

The only Sox to hit more HR in ANY 140 game span are Thome (42 from 4/2/2006-9/25/2006) and Quentin (41 from 4/3/2008-4/17/2009)

Just saying hi. I finally got logged into soxtalk here at the library in Ks. Maybe that's the key for me. Also it looks like I may be able to get in on my phone with a new name. I love the big three.

Not knowing what happened last year, and seeing something similar happen again last year again brings the question, slump or back?

Sox don't think it's an injury, so I don't think it's fair to keep bringing that up even if there's a smidge of truth to it. Venable's comments today suggest it's 100% mental and he doesn't even need taken out of the lineup lol

I am also not willing to always take the Sox talking heads at their word.

A wise stance to take.
