Yeah. Looks brutal. Wonder if they change tomorrow's game to an afternoon one to get it in.

Does today looks that bad? I saw like a 25% chance of rain in the city and well before first pitch.

Did we get anyone else of note in that trade?

We got some C tier pitching prospect from Harvard that has some stuff, but is a bit of a project. He hasn’t done well so far (but still time there), but my guess is we end up with nothing for Robert. It’s actually fascinating to think how good this team is positioned right now and we got basically nothing so far out of both the Cease & Robert trades.

All comes back to Vargas Mune Martin/Burke/Taylor.

I have watched different angles of that walkoff like 100 times this morning

Doesn't look as bad but still looks like a decent chance of heavy rain from first pitch.

It get's better each time.

Braves have an off day on August 20th in the middle of the a Midwest road trip where they go to Minnesota and Milwaukee. We are also off that day and will be in Chicago.

Considering how bad Robert has been.... anything is fortunate.

Liked the move at the time, love it now. Was a "just get this guy off the team" person.

They can probably get in today's game. Tomorrow looks horrific as there is a tornado warning throughout the day.

Venable was good in his press conference. Was upset with himself for not taking the bunt off with Romo. I really like that he called himself out.

TLR would do this kind of stuff somewhat often, call his managing "lousy" and then go make the same decisions in the next games anyway. If Venable really cuts down on the safety squeezes, I'll be impressed, but I'm worried it's kind of who he is

Who is that local weather guy that does the stadium forecasts

Lee>Romo?

Would love to see Lee back. Romo has not been good offensively or defensively in recent games.

Can you imagine if they finish this tough stretch in the schedule in 1st place??

They have 7 games against Cleveland coming up in June, 3 at home 4 at Cleveland. There's a chance but if not in June it could easily happen in July.

He also said Meidroth had a bunt called but he ( Meidroth ) after seeing how close the corners were decided to swing away and hit into the DP. So sort of threw Meidroth under the bus unless he meant He ( Venable) took it off and threw himself under the bus. Only heard it once so didn't really get a chance to dissect the exact wording.

Braden Montgomery's triumphant arrival simplifies Will Ve...

In one sense, Braden Montgomery showed exactly why the White Sox called him up on Tuesday, by slicing an 0-1 Raisel Iglesias changeup off the top of the left field fence and into the home bullpen for

Joe Rock sounds like a made-up Hollywood name, just like Grant Taylor.

Got him for Oliver Dunn around 2 weeks ago.
