This is a very tough matchup. Wild pitch offense maybe?

22 is a good start but i'd like to see 30 today to break the all time franchise record

    We believe you…lol

I don’t like putting Perez in here to make them bring in a righty. They had Lynch on the ropes and he just hurt his third baseman.

Quattaro has just thrown splits out the window today. Lefty killer coming up? I'll throw a lefty. Guy who can't hit lefties is up? I'll put in a righty. It worked once, can it work twice?

They do. It still hurts like hell though when you get hit there, especially a pitcher throwing heat at you from 5 feet away.

Fitting post from username

Dont like the move to pull Peters for Perez, forcing the pitching change. Please prove me wrong.

I would have just left Peters in there. Good chance Lynch is a bit frazzled after hurting his teammate.

KC bullpen is wildly taxed, his options are limited

Wait, why did he pinch hit Peters?

I remember when Marcus Semien fouled one into his groin. Herm Schneider came out and smiled while Semien was trying to get his bearings. Nothing he can do. On his way back to the dugout Gordon Beckham gave Herm a high five

I’d like to be a fly on the wall for the conversation between the pitcher and third baseman in the clubhouse.

I guess it was announced before the pitching change? I missed it.

need contact here and you bring in a guy who K’s like crazy and will almost certainly face a RHP. I don’t get the logic

Swing the bat man. Good god.

Maybe it makes more sense after looking at his line from last night

Perez up there praying for a walk. Ugh.

Yeah that’s why. He had no shot and Schreiber still almost blew it.

Oh come on, right down the plate. That was a bad sub by Venable

So not sure why you didn't bat peters

No, you’re right. That was a dumbass decision.

Lean into that one Jacob lol
