That ball looked like it should have been caught. Kay is donkeydick, but defense has fucked him today.

Dinky duck snort city today.

Seems like he didn’t take a direct route and kind of approached it at a little bit of a loop.

We have the worst ball boys down the lines in MLB. Seriously, the Rays have guys that could win Gold Gloves.

Meidroth and watching a fastball for strike three. Name a more iconic duo

On the bloop double, what I see on the Statcast view is that the route was maybe a step or two deep. My guess is when we get the catch probability, it will rank as a difficult play. Up to today, Braden has caught every ball that Statcast has judged as potentially catchable by a major league outfielder thus far. He hasn't had many high-difficulty ones hit his way though.

Jensen has had no problem seeing Kay at all today. I think he's just sitting sweeper or else knows it's coming from tipping/scouting.

Kay is amazing, only 7 hits and a walk surrendered to a bad KC team through 3.2 innings.

A bad KC team not playing their 2nd best player.

Yeah I'm about done with Kay today

I assume that was a pitch around on Witt and it didn't work.

It's because Ron wanted to be funny and make the thread.

It's because this team sucks and their record is smoke and mirrors. Me and @joejoesox are about to turn this game off.

Richards is an interesting player to me. He's essentially a trick pitcher. The trick often works but you never know when it's going to stop working. The trick being that he has a changeup that breaks almost a foot more than any comparable change at the same speed would be expected to.

He did after Kay threw ball 1.

What does Vargas have on his thumb/hand on his right hand? Do most players wear that and I don't notice it?

So after a 30 pitch first inning, we're going to let this guy somehow get through 5 innings AND be in a position for a win? Yuck.

C'mon bro

Just hold them and we will get to their bullpen.
