Gotta wait, they could easily be 6-7 games out come the deadline.

We won't be.

Frustrating...again

Draft Roch, move Colson to 3B or DH, f*** off Dominguez

Annoying loss but it's just another coin flip game that the Sox lose. They've won a lot of those coinflips too. Just keep grinding it out and you'll come out ahead. I think the Sox have at least a marginal talent advantage over Cleveland but these two losses are tough not because they are losses so much as the fact the pitcher usage is making each subsequent game harder to win. Get some more of those well-hit balls to drop and you'll come out ahead without having to worry so much about the pitching.

We are for sure getting swept

Burke has been our stopper as of late. Glad he's going tomorrow

As frugal as JR has been with player contracts, I think if Getz wants Seranthony gone, he will be .

I don't buy all these reports suggesting that it won't be Roch. The pick feels like a no brainier.

This bullpen is cheeks.

This manager is cheeks.

This offense is cheeks.

This team is cheeks.

Vasil can shove the wand up his cheeks.

The vibes are gone.

A better bullpen and we could be up 3 games now. Gotta correct the problem immediately to make sure we dont fall further in the standings.

I do buy it, I think Nevin and others like Emerson more.

Getz couldn’t identify a good reliever if his life depended on it.

Maybe not, but what else can Venable do with Seranthony. Use him in less stressful situations?

You can't just sit around waiting for Murakami...but Teel will need at least one hundred at-bats to recapture his timing and they just don't have enough prospect capital to outbid other teams looling for a closer right now.

Unless there's some behind the scenes character problem, you're not getting rid of Seranthony. You just have to hide him until he gets it together. Unfortunately, you are also hiding Hicks and the more guys you're hiding, the harder it is to hide them.

At what point can you say they've "not been playing great" without people jumping up and down

Maybe he’s now only an opener…

Don’t do it, I’ve been assured we’re actually playing phenomenal baseball.

I don't see any point in buying in any serious way. This is a developmental year and you don't know your long-term holes, if any. If there's a long-term piece out there, sure check it out. If there's some marginal moves to be made, take a look. Especially if you can improve the big league club at only the cost of money.

Having one of the highest rated defensive players flat out cost you 3 games in about 10 days is crazy

CLE fans were saying the same thing last week after Cade Smith blew a game...

But pretty much nobody reliable in the pen at the moment is a recipe for disaster.

Richards next man up lol?

He needs a phantom DL stint so Venable doesn't use him at all
