All Star Home Run Derby 7 pm CST on Netflix

His swings looked so effortless, and the ball just explodes off his bat. I was glad to see him hit a few monster shots but not upset he didn't advance. Having just come off the IL, this was good for him to get some swings in.

Philly would boo God himself

They'd boo a 7-year-old girl at her mother's funeral.

They'd throw rocks at her if she was from Pittsburgh.

Couldn't find a stream and wasn't going to try that hard. Saw the Mune replay and then Walker's winning round. Seems like it was a successful derby. I was 50/50 on if I thought it would be good for Mune but as long as he comes out healthy it's fine. Just get him an AB tonight and call it good.

Will Ferrell was not in his best form last night for whatever reason...

He nearly made me turn it off. He was beyond atrocious.

Mistake not having Seranthony throw to him.

You cant walk in the HR Derby.

Unless it was my TV - the Netflix audio quality was horrendous.

I thought this format was so much better than the timed format where you can't even see where the balls lands. This way created a lot of dramatic moments, let the moment breathe, it was nice. It has to be less taxing physically on the players as well. I hope they keep this up for the foreseeable future.

The actual directing and broadcast left a lot to be desired. They kept doing extreme closeups on the hitter and showing the players watching while batters were swinging. Also, Will Ferrell reminds me of my Grandma, but less funny.

Yes - This last part - the broadcast quality was just awful all the way around.

Hoping the World Series isn’t on the Vaseline Channel.

I also enjoyed it. It’s nitpicking but I would add another 5 swings per player just because I thought it was a little too quick, but overall I thought it was a lot better.
