We tend to be hard on this team but there are so many young players with little experience.

Damn you a baller. It's alright though - this is how I get to Sox games:

Sox are playing at a .528 clip which projects to 86 wins. I also did a series by series prediction and came up with 85 wins, that should be enough for a WC spot and maybe the division. With 54 games left if they won half which would be 27-27 they would go 84-78. With only 2 teams in the AL that are probably going to win 90+ games I think we can do this and make the playoffs especially if we trade for a starter and a catcher. Should be quite a ride.

Goal is 88 and take division. 86 would be acceptable and give us probably 50/50 shot at WC. Anything less would be a bummer but still tremendous progress. It would be nice to get everything going at once, offense, SP, bullpen. It's been one but not the others for the last 8 weeks or so. We're staying afloat, but be nice to get hot and rip off 8 of 10 or something.

Yep, we’re not firing on all the cylinders right now, if we get Vargas, Colson and Peters going again we should make a WC fairly easily.

Before taking hi8is jr to see Spiderman I was able to watch the game up until the 4th. Midway through the movie saw it was still tied going into the ninth…

Then the internet died in the theater.

For nearly two hours I had to suffer not knowing the fate of this important game… by the time we left the place and my service cleared up, my breath was taken away to see we won again in extras.

Back home now watching the replay from the 4th onward.

Good times to be a Sox fan continue and as I’ve been harping since our “first big test” in June - this division is coming down to the wire and will be determined by how the inner-division games go.

Would be MASSIVE of Getz and crew could toe the line of protecting the farm, adding for both this stretch run and post season, while also improving our weaknesses for the next couple of years.

I still am greedy and am targeting 93. Still think we have our hottest streak ahead of us. Imagine if they do indeed bring in two starting pitchers, a catcher with a nice RH bat, and call up some arms to help in the pen.

It could really inject life into this already lively bunch and give us the assets necessary to really get on a big winning streak for the first time all year.

Really want to see a 8+ game winning streak.

Little off. 7 non manfred runs allowed in last 32 innings. Zero non manfred runs allowed in the last 17, which is crazy.
