Kinda happy to play Guards this week. Team needs to show up and have energy.

Ya I’m sure being home is going to be a big shot in the arm. I know they’ve had off days but traveling like that and only being home for 6 days would be hard for anyone to not be tired.

He needs to get moved to 2B desperately

TBH I don't think he's going to play well defensively at 2B so I prefer to keep working him in LF where his D has a lower impact and there's a little bit of upside. Especially since Sox are still light on outfielders

Romo's defense accounting for 2 of 3 runs in this one.

Sam botched that throw but I won't charge him the run.

That wild pitch was pretty catchable. Almost seems like they got crossed up.

Seriously. They’ve been on an awful schedule of games and have held their own. People are really overreacting. Just get back to it after tomorrow.

So are you conceding tomorrow’s game?

The Red Sox right now are what the Guardians would be if they were more talented. They’re just playing essentially perfect baseball. Hope I jinx it.

I can see the issues at 2B as well, but his defense is atrocious in LF

Hope they win, but if they get swept they get swept. Just take care of business after.

Weekend series against Cleveland at home. Sat night is already completely sold out, Ozzie retirement ceremony. Friday doesn't look far behind. Should be a fun weekend

That’s fine, still doesn’t make a huge difference though

Yea - today has been an absolute dud so far for just about everyone… but until Colson can show improved situational hitting, I think he needs to be in the five hole.

Amazing deadline not replacing him

They sent the wrong guy down.

Screw it, call up roch, bonemer, carlson to give some young blood to this club

Did Romo get pulled?

Pinch hit so Bart could go up there and strike out on three quick pitches.

If we only had any outfield prospects in A+ or higher

Having to use Bart as a ph is hilarious

Just why the f*** is he still on the roster. Another game where catchers have more errors than hits.

If you're going to have no offense from catchers at least have two GG's like Bailey and Hedge who can prevent runs on the other side.

Ok boys - let’s get it goin! Atta boy Paycho Sammy!

Right! Ugly bench.

Bailey and Hedges have hit fine for the guardians, all things considered

Hedges has hit really well this year for his standards. Bailey can at least get a big hit once in a while. Romo is literally a pitcher at the plate.

Absolutely amazing how bad the offense has become in the 2nd game of the series

Guarantee out for everyone tonight

I don't really feel all that badly about this game. Brutal offense but this Boston team is a juggernaut on the mound. And our pitchers have done fine. Drew Romo costs you a run or two, I guess that's just one of the things you're required to accept. Nobody said it would be easy and like I said last time we played Boston, there's a significant disadvantage in the fact that Boston is way better. It's nice to have come into this series having held serve against the two teams ahead of Boston in the standings.
