That sounds like a cool ass museum.

Curious to see this now. When you say interactive do you mean digital? I have hated the primary digital museums (see the emigration museum in dublin, which feels like it could be anywhere), but small things to participate (the typewriters at the american writers museum) do a bunch.

  • Man some of you guys are just no fun at all. TA was incredible for 4 years here and has one of the greatest moments in franchise history. If I still lived in Chicago I'd 100% be at that celebration ga

  • Seems like i'm in the minority here but I love it. Watching him hit the walk off in Iowa will be an all time memory I take to the grave. Fall off aside, there's a reason why he got a standing ovation

Oh - so back on topic a bit.

Maybe I missed it, but I looked it up and didn't see much.

Ed Farmer deserved a bigger dedication. He passed during the covid years. I can't hear St. Rita without thinking of him. Gave the best call of my sox life with the paul konerko slam. He deserves a bigger day to celebrate him.

He also gave us one of the most hilarious calls, which is still a meme on The Score…

I was just at the opening of the Teddy Roosevelt Presidential Library. Borrow ideas from that experience. Not much static stuff to look at. Make it interactive, how stuff for people to do and learn.

I hear you can talk to Teddy there, how was your conversation?

While I agree farmer wasn't a good announcer overall (he didn't 'tell you what was happening' or 'tell you the score'), DJ and Farmer would have be in stitches while driving. Benetti's humor i liked but it was more 'I understand you are being humorous', while Farmer and DJ are genuinely weird dudes and it would kill me.

Farmer was the best bad announcer of all time. He had a great voice for radio and would go off on tangents instead of calling the game but he was easy on the ears in a way a lot of rambling announcers are not.

I wasn’t trying to say he was bad. That just ended up being a funny situation. DJ and Farmer were way better than Stone and Schriffen for sure.

I know, i was just pre-empting @Kyyle23 coming in to say how much he hated farmer's announcing.

“Hope everyone celebrating the Jewish holiday walks home safe”

The only thing that matters is that they are wearing the old city connects

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Everyone else can get hit by a car!

Sounds horrible, but not intentional. He was known for making blunders like this

Too soon imo.

Tim deserves to be remembered fondly, but I think the feelings of how things ended up are going be raw for a lot of people and might result in a weird crowd reaction.

I'd ask him if he thinks we will sign Mune to an extension.....I would love to hear his perspective.

My wife thought it was karma biting him in the ass.

I just figured the baby mama stuff ended pasta night when he hit a home run and he loved his wife's pasta.

Baby mama should have stepped up. Pasta is pretty easy. Even hoes should know how to boil water lol

I don’t remember the name of the holiday but he only said this during a specific Jewish holiday when they would celebrate by I believe fasting all day and then having a big meal and a lot of booze, and I think nobody drives or uses electronics all day or something like that. Basically everyone walks everywhere, shitfaced

Honestly sounds like a good time

I guess it happens when you get sick of the same pasta from your wife all the time.
