I guess all those pundits, sports writers, sports radio talk show hosts, and baseball "experts" were all wrong. Because as I wrote, for decades all I always heard from them was you can always pickup a good bat at the deadline. Seems like it's not so easy, at least it hasn't been for the White Sox over the years.
