He has almost a 6.00 ERA in August.

Two awful starts and two quality starts going 6 each with 1 ER and 3 ER. Maybe those two starts he got blooped around.

Further investigation shows one of the blow outs he hit two guys and gave up two bombs.

As much as I try to like it… I don’t.

  • Sox were due. Feel like they've been on the other end of this for a few weeks.

  • I'll allow a 15 game Royals winning streak if it means they sweep Cleveland.

it's a 4 run game, will is rightfully trying to have Taylor limit his innings. I get the decision and and he did the right thing once it became in doubt and burned Taylor regardless. Not many mangager

How is it possible there hasn’t been one relief prospect that did enough in the minors to get promoted to the majors this year? Just crazy development incompetence.

Hagen Smith has been the only one who has showed promise. I hope he is on the Chris Sale / Garrett Crochet path. We really need at least one of him or Schultz to pan out.

McDougal was good until he got hurt and the move to the bullpen has not been good.

So Doyle, who has never faced deGrom, gets the start instead of Grichuk who is 5/13 with 2 HR against deGrom 🤪🤪

If they’re starting Doyle, hopefully they’re competent enough to have Grich in as the DH.

Apparently Brian Bannister can't turn crap into gold after all.. Weird, when the team sucked, he was a guru. Now that they have been pretty good, he isn't a guru anymore.

At least he recently acknowledged that their pitching development processes are lacking and are still being brought up to modern standards.

No Grich 🤦🏻‍♂️

Perhaps the issues are coinciding. McDougal is the least of our concern and will likely be fine after building up strength this offseason.

Yeah it doesn't make much sense at all. Seems like Venable is prioritizing defense over the possible offense

Not the innings he's going to give them. Itll be no better then what you saw last night.

the Sox right now are trying to trade games for getting their pitchers a breather, they understand that a win or a loss doesn't matter in these games with Cannon, or not that they don't matter but that winning isn't the priority (crazy that this is where we are, well not that crazy to some of us)

he's probably thinking, "I can give guys a day off in the Cannon start and guarantee a loss, or give guys off with Kay on the bump and possibly have a shot at winning"

There it is, the 'injury'

Welp - doubt Cannon will be as bad as Brazo had been and hopefully the rest resets him for another run like he had before we acquired him. Of all the deadline moves that haven’t panned out, I’ve been the most surprised by Brazoban.

ALRIGHT KAY!!! LOCK EM DOWN AND GIVE US DISTANCE HASS!!! WE NEED YA TO BE A BULLDOG AND THROW NAILS TODAY!!!

LETS GO SOX! BIG TIME SERIES WINNER MISSION STARTS RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW!!!!

LETS FUCKING GO!

Kay is looking fantastic. 98 and painting black. Secondaries breaking off the plate.

Apparently Kay has stolen Hagen’s FB.

97-98 in the first?

Where’s Gordon Beckham when you need him?

OH

MY

GAWD

Embarrassing. What the f*** was Romo doing

C’mon guys, someone has to catch that.

Romo bailed out of that play way too quickly…

shouldn’t ever assume the pitcher will take it

Langford did us a favor - gotta shut em down here and pitch over the error.

Ok everyone is dumb I guess

Kay didn't deserve this
