His priority seems to be resurrecting year old threads saying “I told you so” and the Sox winning makes that harder.

Let’s spend every thread having this tired argument.

Why can’t you be more happy with a 6-1 lead than worrying about other posters lol.

Do you fight with JoeJoe in every single game thread? He’s Legion of Doom compared to whatever the baseline average of positivism vs. negativism is around here.

Boers and Bernstein voice GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR FIRST CRAP

  • How is it possible there hasn’t been one relief prospect that did enough in the minors to get promoted to the majors this year? Just crazy development incompetence.

  • Watch out for Burger, again.

Bummer. DeGrom survives to see another inning. His night has to be winding down regardless. Good job Sox!

Antonacci being that aggressive on the basepaths backfires just as often as not.

It worked tonight, obviously, but he has to do better going forward as an anomalous non power hitting corner outfielder.

Same with his ABS challenges. Just about better judgments.

As Sam rounded first base, I could read his thought balloon: "What the hell, live a little!" 🙂

Seriously though, yeah, it was pretty aggressive. Awful when it backfires; great when it works!

Please Kay give us 7 innings tonight. The pen is cooked.

Did they really choose Cannon over Thorpe or just there to eat up bullpen innings before Sunday?

He was my darkhorse pick to come up when I made the poll. There's no doubt he can cover innings. It's the hittability that's in question.

Or let’s just score 20 and let Acuna finish it off.

Romo PR hit live on the air right now

@ Charlotte ? anything less then three runs a moral victory

He wasn’t as sharp tonight but still pretty good. Gave up a run in the first on a leadoff bunt single to third, stolen base without a throw, then a 77 mph soft looping ball over the 2nd baseman’s head. In the 5th he gave up a hard single with one out, stolen base, grazed hit batter, soft single to left. He was pulled after that but it was for pitch count. He was at 90. Gave up a lead off double that he pitched around. Other than that not many hard hit balls. He just wasn’t as efficient tonight.

Thorpe went 4.2 giving up 6 hits and a walk, good for 2 runs. Not exactly what I was hoping to see from him. Will have to watch his performance later to have much more of a commentary.

Kay threw more strikes than balls to Duran, that's gotta suck

Hell of a play by Vargas there.

Kay having some issues putting guys away. Vargas with a nice stop and throw to end the inning

Nice to see some plays made on the IF.

Apparently Brian Bannister can't turn crap into gold after all.. Weird, when the team sucked, he was a guru. Now that they have been pretty good, he isn't a guru anymore.

So you were expecting Hicks, Kay, Fedde and Hudson to all be good enough ? Got it .

I'll also throw in there that Burke and Martin has gone through long stretches of pitching the best baseball of their lives and Newcomb and Taylor have also got significiantly better, That's 8 guys giving more than expected.

Bannister is just the scapegoat flavor of the month because they haven't been able to turn some very young starting pitchers into viable MLB starting pitchers yet.

He’s looked good today, even if he didn’t get a hit there.

He has had good at bats today, seems like he is seeing it better

Colson has had good ab so far
