Bullpens are só critical in the postseason, Cade Smith a great equalizer and CLE has just enough offense and the starting pitching as well

Their biggest weakness now is Griffin/Bibee as #3…not a bad problem to have

At least TEX also lost.....we're getting in one way or another but CLE is unreal lucky now.

What we “need” to do is make up a single game with six games to play. That can happen in any number of ways. We could be back to controlling our destiny after the very next game. Or we could do it on the last game of the season. It’s not rocket science. One game at a time.

They'll probably want to limit Tolle on Tuesday since he's never pitched close to 150 innings before in his career.

CLE has Messick going as well who also has not thrown that many innings before. He threw close to 140 last year and he is at 178 this year

140 to 178 is a pretty normal increase. Tolle's never thrown more than 108 before. He's already at 158 this year between the minors and majors. Maybe this will be his last regular season start. Hopefully they let him go at least 5.

Well, we all already know this, but I'll say it anyway. Our Sox only need to pick up one game on Cleveland to win the division. The wild card looks good if we go 3wins in the last six. Take it home boys!

There is a massive storm brewing off the east coast that is expected to bring heavy rain to the NE over the next week. In a worse case landfall situation the entire Red Sox Tribe series would be in danger. I have no idea what would even happen if they couldn't get a game in. I'd imagine they'd have to make it up ASAP with a double header, but what if they can't even get a single day they can play in?

Would they move it to Toronto or something? I have no fucking clue.

I think it's supposed to be fine for the Cleveland series - it's the Cubs one Fri/Sat/Sun that is gonna have major issues

It’s the Cubs series that is going to have trouble, and I hope it’s as miserable as possible for both of them. For the Cleveland series, give me clear skies and the Guards getting their ass whooped.
