Sandlin should start Thursday and Thorpe should start Sunday. It is time to see what these guys have.

Ronican is just a play on Panican, the WSI “dark clouds” of SoxTalk. “Jedi” are the positive posters. I thought you of all people would be up-to-date on the SoxTalk slang…

Panican is too close to Anakin...but I never thought of them as Jedis, lol...the only one who seems to always be genuinely, relentlessly optimistic is Autumn Dreamin.

It’s fine to make trades for 2027, but the starting rotation in particular clearly needed more immediate help, and is running on fumes at this point.

Getz deserves a lot of credit but if a playoff race doesn’t spur you to focus on production right out of the gate, I’m not sure what would.

I give him credit for building the team that has been a playoff contender for most of the season but will acknowledge a lousy trade deadline.

Time to call up a fresh arm like Thorpe. He's already made 9 starts in the minors this season.

A lot of younger people aren't as attached to Star Wars as those who grew up in the 70's through 90's, though.

Or maybe that's just reaffirmation that it hasn't caught on here at all in the cultural zeitgeist...despite trying to force it with multiple Chinese characters and deliberately downplaying John Boyega's role in marketing.
