Trying way too hard to kill every pitch. Just throw him off speed and he'll swing right thru it. He's nowhere near the same hitter as last year right now.

Teel is swinging at everything, I might be wrong but I don’t think he’s taken a pitch yet since he came back on Friday.

And they foul off a lot of mistake pitches that should get hammered. Yeah I realize that players aren't gonna capitalize on every mistake a pitcher makes but the Sox foul off or just whiff on a ton of balls that should get destroyed. No wonder they're the 3rd lowest contact rate team in MLB.

Yep, he should be a high contact guy.

Hagen is just nasty when he's on. You might be able to squeeze one more inning out of him with only 20 or so pitches thrown.
