Braden will get on base next inning and they'll strand him as per usual

Well that was very predictable

I am pretty sick of this team at this point. It isn't fun when we can never get hits

Outside of the walkoffs, the second half of the season has been very boring

Groundout, double, strikeout, groundout

well at least there's that 51 1/2 game swing in the standings from 2024

this was never meant to be an unflawed team for this season...just more competitive

This team has been so unwatchable over the past few weeks.

At least Chase is playing defense today.

Just came on to say the same thing. I had to turn the game off after those strikeouts. It's now CFB season and I don't have to watch every inning personally. I hope they get hot, but this team is limping into October.

Dude, smith's body is always in danger when he's pitching lol

at least Hagen hasn't had a walk his last two appearances

Can the catcher challenge a pitch that was called a strike? Thinking back to Colson’s at bat, if a ball is called a strike and it allows the batter to reach base via dropped third, can the catcher challenge? That scenario wasn’t in play for Colson’s at bat because there were 3 balls, so he would be on first either way, but it got me wondering what the rules actually are for challenges.

I looked into this a little bit, and I don’t believe catchers can challenge strike calls.

You're gonna jinx him

Honestly think 1-2 runs can win it for us

Louisville/Ole Miss or ND/Wisconsin-Wisky as the City Connect Brewers jerseys state?

They swing for the fences...every...fucking...time. Instead of just trying to put the ball in play when you have RISP, they're pulling on every fucking pitch. Are the Sox coaches not seeing what we're seeing? Are the players just disregarding that and swinging as hard as they can pulling everything and refusing to even just go the other way when the pitch is on the outer half of the strike zone?

This game is looking like if they don't hit them out of the park, they're not scoring tonight 🤬🤬🤬

My son is at the ND @ Wisconsin game at Lambeau with his teammate. Section 114.

0/8 with RISP

Peters has had a decent approach

Braden just seems to be getting worn down playing a long long season after missing so much time in 2024

We’re so bad at protecting the plate with two strikes.

Peters getting shafted so far today

Cardinals and Pirates are gonna bury this team and that'll be that

End of Fickell Era lol

I've never seen a Sox team this bad at fouling off/spoiling pitches, just whiff after whiff

WTF was that tv replay? They show the worst views on purpose.
