Major blunder by Venable to start Chris Murphy this game, he had to start with Davis, who is a starter. We are in a pennant race and we need to start our games with the guns blazing, not with a crap shoot like murphy on top of the terrible line up and Mune batting cleanup, and Rogers catching. Venable is showing us that he is not ready for pennant race primetime. IMO.

Griffin has his easiest inning, from a pitch count perspective, but it's the one we actually score.

They really botched this roster right now. What’s the point of having 3 catchers on the roster if you have to use your lefty guys against LHP. I’d rather see Wiemer on the roster than Quero (since they hate him and love Rogers)

don't know the point of keeping guys like him and Lee if they don't believe in them enough to provide them playing time
