That is insane. So much regress without any ingress.

Didn't even bother turning this game on after last night. Detroit is going to sweep these bums. Season was all smoke and mirrors. Another poorly managed, poorly coached team. Awful trade deadline made

I get the sky is falling bit, but like, you do realize how difficult it would be for the Sox to actually miss the playoffs. Even if the Sox go 4-6 ROS, it would require the Jays to go 7-3 or better and/or the Rangers to go 7-4 or better. For each game better than 4-6 for the Sox, it becomes nearly impossible for the Jays or Rangers to pass them. Backing into the 6 seed would be disappointing, but it would legit be hard for the Sox to not make the playoffs.

It seems to get more and more likely with each L.

No doubt about it. Far more likely today than it was a week ago. Still not very likely, tho.

Good luck convincing me this isn’t a coaching issue

Honestly, our rotation is already pretty set for 2027. Burke, Martin, Kay, Schultz, Smith. Problem is, that’s not really that inspiring…

I’d go sign a really good FA starter and move Kay to the bullpen.

Well I don't think its out of the question that they just lost Colson for at least 2 weeks. Maybe that helps at this point, tbh. He's been brutal.

Grich needs to be playing everyday at this point. I'd move Meidroth to SS and Sam to 2B if Colson is unavailable.

Agreed. With Grich in LF.

Jays are going to win as Tigers infield defense have made about 5 bad plays

Our FG odds are down 13 percentage points from their peak, still sitting at 73%, were over 86 on August 30.

Maybe we can also get the same kind of bad defense this weekend.

It would have been 90+% had we won yesterday. Just tragic.

I stand by my prediction Mune gets booed tomorrow if he strikes out

Coaching scared

I take it back, we actually peaked Friday at 87.5%. 14 points in two days.

Maybe we should all take a board break until tomorrow's game

I’d spill my drink on “fans” next to me if he’s booed.

There certainly is a contingent that comes out to post more frequently after losses. Bottom line is this division is still there for them to earn. I’m going to be there rooting for them every step of the way until the year is over.

FUCKING GO TIME.

To be fair, since I don’t drink… waters free.

I support full f*** it mode and call up Bonemer.

Why not....even if he struggles for the couple of weeks will that really affect him in the long run and who knows he could go on a Yerminator like tear

TBH, i'm taking a break from this forum for my own mental health and sanity. Part of it is because there is a crowd that seem to enjoy losing more then they enjoy winning so they can either claim their superiority or so they can be negative about the team.

I've caved and am here for it. Just start him in Charlotte next year (barring him carrying us to a World Series victory of course)

I just pay no mind to it and tell them to f*** off. You’re right though, there is some masochistic theme around these woods from time to time.

It could be that they know a lockout is coming and they don't want him on the 40 man so he could still play a full season next year?

That is actually a very interesting thought. It honestly makes sense as it keeps him avaiable for everything if the lockout drags on.
