A's are 5-4 against them and actually hitting the ball pretty well after the Guardians series.

I know Espada wanted to trust Hader to close the game out, but his stuff was nowhere near as good in the 10th inning. He already struggled to get out of the 9th. Asking him to throw another 25 pitches on top of that is way too much.

He has always been terrible in multi inning saves.

Watched it over and over again in SD.

Okay, if they don't win today and Houston/Texas somehow manage to win...then there shouldn't be any further discussion on this board about playoff odds and possible doomsday scenarios, right?

Houston have been eliminated from the wild card. If Houston finish in second place, they will have a worse record then the white Sox.

With lesser teams it can be dangerous this time of year. Sometimes their record can be misleading because of injuries and then get healthy when it no longer matters. Then you can have hitters facing AAA callups that they never faced.

Outsiders still think the Sox will win the division. They are more confident than we are.
