April 5, 200421 yr Please don't start that again.... It's a long season, and ya gotta trust it. Just play with heart, boys, and you'll be playing in mid October.

April 5, 200421 yr Wooh Hoo!!!!! A little more than 7 Hours until baseball begins!!!! LETS GO SOX!!!! I'm about ready to go to school - but I'll have my headphones on for my whole last period....!!!!! 6 hours left! After KC, we will go to NY, i hope we can at least get a splt there. The KC series is must sweep.
April 5, 200421 yr It's definitely a statement series. We need to start strong to show everyone that we are for real. So when we play in home, the stadium will be full and the nteam playing well.
April 5, 200421 yr anyone else think this thread is kind of point less considering this is a sox forum and dont really need a single thread for the whole season?

April 5, 200421 yr Author I do,but as my dad says "son your young, sox will never win" Go Sox, Go Reds
April 5, 200421 yr It almost appears that we are 2 hours away! GO SOX + #45!!!!!!! Speaking of Lee.. not to get too far ahead of everything.. but do you think they might move Lee to 1b next year and give one of the stud minor league guys a shot at the LF job.. I guess they could get the LF and RF job if Maggs heads out...

I guess they could get the LF and RF job if Maggs heads out... Depends on where Pauly and Frank call home next year. Although I will have to say Carlos really has improved a lot in LF, and deserves to be a LFer.
April 5, 200421 yr hmmm can't have an official Sox thread without this These Motherf***ing b****ass Dips*** Ass.... :fyou :fyou :fyou what's too painfull to remember . . . the way we were Go Ozzie
April 5, 200421 yr The sox will destroy KC on wednesday. Darrell May will get rocked once again and Esteban will be back to his Cy Loaiza form. Leave your brooms at home kc cause we're gonna get down and dirty in 2 days.
April 7, 200421 yr Author SOX win the game 4-3. The win goes to Esty 1-0 Save goes to Koch (1) HR's by MO(1) Lee (2) Sox are 1-1. New york is next.
April 7, 200421 yr E-LO pitched great, but this game ball goes to Koch. Not only did he close a 1 run game (something the SOX have been struggling to do for 3 yrs now), but he did it with POWER! Range of speeds: 88-98 Most speeds: 95 That's the Koch of old. If he ever develops a curve or change look out! But until then we just have to get used to a fast ball pitcher who throws more strikes than balls & has success getting hitters to swing at less than hittable pitches. He looked so good today, I'm dreaming of him doing against the NY All-Stars! Kudos go to: E-LO ( loved his performance to quiet the skeptics) M Olivo - impact player today Frank Thomas - wore Mays out to where the others could nail him Maggs - both with the glove & the bat The 4 of them gave Billy the chance to earn his first save of the year (and a 1 RUN save at that!).
April 8, 200421 yr THIS ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! I ABSOLUTELY LOATHE THE SCHEDULE MAKERS THIS YEAR! Thanks to these mindless boffos that have the SOX & Cubs opening in the same week in Chicago, we have 6 more games with the NYY in the next week. So while we are struggling to compete against the NYY, the Tigers are now 4 - 0. After the first 3 games we find ourselves 2.5 gb ! What will we be after we're done with the NY All-Stars? 5 gb? Lady luck just doesn't seem to like the SOX
April 8, 200421 yr So while we are struggling to compete against the NYY, the Tigers are now 4 - 0. After the first 3 games we find ourselves 2.5 gb ! Jesus motherf*cking Christ......can someone please tell Jauggs that Tigers are still gonna lose 95-100+ games this year, now that Dmitri Young is done....And that Twins and Royals are STILL by far Sox' biggest worry.
April 9, 200421 yr Jon Garland stepping up in a big game? That would be what, the 2nd time in his career. It sure as hell doesn't help his cause that Contreras dominated the Sox last year. Don't know what to expect from Garland: he is 0-2 with a 5+ ERA career against the Yanks.
April 9, 200421 yr Yeah, well that was the 1st time we say Contreras. So maybe now we can hit him, because we all know how well we hit guys we have never seen.
