Tommorow will be the first game that I"ll be able to see in entirety, now let's hope our boys don't let me down. If we can take 2 this weekend, i will be ecstactic.

Does anyone have good feelings about Schoenweis? I see Scott striking out alot of Yanks, though the Sox probably won't hit Vazquez too well. Should be a low scoring game.

I think I am goning to tape this game because I hate just coming home and having the final score hit you.

It's way way better to see it played out.

Ishmookie is 1-0 this year for game threads. Let's keep it goin!!

That's exactly what I'll be doing. It will be nice to see the first game of the year for me.

Let's see if we can beat these guys. We always used to do well against the good teams and sucky against the bad... Well, this is another year so hopefully we'll do good against both.

I'll be secretly listening to it during the last half of English, lunch, and all of Biology!

Ummm, no.

I won't be able to catch tomorrows, but hopefully Scho will whoop sum ass.

Is it a day game or night game tomorrow? And I think Vasquez will dominate the Sox.

I hope Jose and whoever will be playing 2B can get it going early.

THe game starts at noon chicago time. So maybe about Midnite for you?

I called the early start of this thread 4 hours ago... I just expected it a little sooner.

Ishmookie is a glory stealer. He gains personal satisfaction from seeing his name attached to a thread with so many posts. ;)

Sox should take 3 out of 4.

It would help if 1-2 hitters don't go 0-for-9 and Shoenweiss gets change-up over.

Chicago White Sox (1-1)

LH Scott Schoeneweis

1. Willie Harris, 2B

2. Jose Valentin, SS

3. Magglio Ordonez, RF

4. Frank Thomas, DH

5. Carlos Lee, LF

6. Paul Konerko, 1B

7. Joe Crede, 3B

8. Aaron Rowand, CF

9. Miguel Olivo, C

New York Yankees (2-2)

RH Javier "Jeff Weaver part deuce" Vazquez

1. Kenny Lofton, DH

2. Derek Jeter, SS

3. Alex Rodriguez, 3B

4. Jason Giambi, 1B

5. Gary Sheffield, RF

6. Hideki Matsui, LF

7. Bernie Williams, CF

8. Jorge Posada, C

9. Enrique Wilson, 2B

If Schoenweiss can keep them in the game and not get blown away, the White Sox will win this game.

1. Kenny Lofton, DH

2. Derek Jeter, SS

3. Alex Rodriguez, 3B

4. Jason Giambi, 1B

5. Gary Sheffield, RF

6. Hideki Matsui, LF

7. Bernie Williams, CF

8. Jorge Posada, C

Ridiculous. Bring on the salary cap.

Well if recent history means anything we have played pretty well at Yankee stadium of late. Nobody will ever forget the 4 gm sweep in NY in 2000. I can't remember what we did in 2001. But I know we took 2 out of 3 in 2002 and last year. So that's something positive to look at.. :headbang

5 hours til gametime, and I'm goin to stay up and catch the play by play. Hopefully Shoe pitches well today against Vasquez, although I'm not confident at all on that.

Ridiculous.  Bring on the salary cap.

Watch out for Sheff, he is hitting so well. He hits lefties very well, it will be a tough 1st start for Schoe. I hope he can overcome his ST problems.

Let'so rock Vazquez, as sais before, the new Jeff Weaver! :headbang
