Fall Out Boy
what about jon adkins? Hasn't pitched too much but i cringe at the thought of anyone in AAA. Hell, the sox dont even know who's pitching saturday! I say give it a shot....or am way off base? FOB
aboz56
I actually not against having Adkins start, he's pitched well this year and to me, he is as solid as any other option out there...I think Rauch will be starting though...
Wise Master Buehrle
Keep Adkins in the pen!! He's doing fine there. Call up Rauch. Time to see what he's made of.
qwerty
Well adkins whip is terrible and i think that in a start he will get hammered imo.

whitesoxin'
Yeah, it's all but official that Rauch is starting. Rooney even said in an interview "Rauch is starting Saturday". I hope he learned how to walk down stairs since his last start.

FOB Adkins doesn't have the muscular endurance to stretch his arm out and go for a good 4 innings...Rauch, Grilli or Munoz would be best. DBAHO
What bout Mike Jackson, his last few outings haven't been too good either. I think Wunsch may stay up actually.

In the last 7 2/3 jackson has only given up two earned runs. I do not think that is too bad.

We don't need Cotts, Wunsch and Marte in the pen...Two lefties in the pen is plenty, Wunsch goes IMO.
greg775
Is Rauch gonna make it in the bigs? Or is he iffy? How come our guys making spot starts always get rocked and we always make guys making their first starts look like Roger Clemens?

Gene Honda Civic
Boy he really pissed someone off to get treated like that... Such a talented guy too... He didn't piss anyone off -- Right now, He does NOT have major league stuff -- The sox used his first option after he was on the DL and he never came back to chicago when eligible. He can go up and down at the will of the sox the rest of the year without penalty. He makes the same money either way ($800,000). He has admitted himself that he is getting hitters out with junk right now. Junk won't cut it.
southsider2k5
Ozzie already said that Neal and Jon Adkins won't be starting this year and that they are too important to the pen.
