March 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 03:28 PM) I have extra's if you can make it here. I'm gonna have to look up what airfare is. I thought I had a test that day but its been switched. Will my chances of getting seats be ruined if I were to tell you I'd be chanting for Willie to be starting

March 24, 200521 yr Unfortuneatly I won't be going to opening day. I will, however, be going to the two games in Milwaukee the Friday-Saturday before the season starts.
March 24, 200521 yr Haha, hell yes. The day I'm supposed to go back to school, forget that. I have things higher on my priotity list.
March 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 07:03 PM) Looked, airfare is too much for me. Where are your priorites :headshake
March 24, 200521 yr I considered going, but Opening Day weather has been SO s***ty the past few years that I talked myself out of it, and onto the sofa-recliner. I hope for your sake that the weather's nice this year, but I'll be enjoying the action from the best seat in my house.

My Spring Break starts Friday, and we go back on that April 4th. Luckily my mom already said I can skip that day, so it's pretty sweet.
March 24, 200521 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 05:08 PM) Where are your priorites :headshake Well I did just priceline the hotel for tomorrow through Sunday for spring training Couldn't be happier, staying at the Hyatt for less than it would cost to stay at some of the cheap motels. Seeing the Sox play Sat and Sunday.

The very initial long term forcasts are actually predicting a warm up starting towards the middle to end of next week. My fingers are crossed.

Luckily my mom already said I can skip that day, so it's pretty sweet. My Spring Break started today. Yeah, my Dad is cool as hell about missing school for sporting events. I've missed for multiple opening days, just random Sox games, Big Ten Tourney, etc. He is a man with the right priorities.

When I fly out to Arizona for spring training, my dad's money is no good at any of the games we attend. I remember all the games he took me to at Comiskey Park, back in the mid to late 60's and into the 70's. Always make sure to repay your father ... sermon over.

My fingers are crossed. I got mine crossed for you guys too. Opening Day is a lot of fun if the weather cooperates, and of course even better if the Sox win!
