Now lets f***ing sweep this time.

Its our 3rd chance to get a sweep! Lets convert this time! Big win tonite. Awesome job by the pen. Contreras start was shaky, but found himself later on. What a scrappy win. I'm lovin it.

Actually -- I think this is pretty neat stuff.

This method is based (I think) on the calculations done a couple years ago by some Yale economics professor. I recall reading an article on this a little while back, and thinking it was a great idea, and not too difficult to reproduce when you organize the data. So I'm curious about it, now that someone's taken the time to work it all up.

From the article on Chisox.com, it appears he's fine.  They just understand how valuable he is, and they're just being cautious.

It's kind of picky but the article said the abductor muscle. These are the muscles usually associated with hip pointers not the groin muscles. The adductors are the groin. Ihope the writer just got it wrong like they usually do, otherwise the problem is worse then they thought.

That is a thing of beauty.

EDIT: Gene, what are you plotting the pecentages against?  I mean, what are you putting into Excel?

The time axis is just plays... I don't put it on there because some innings are longer than others, and number of plays would just be plain confusing.

I know each is a play, but what are you actually inputting into excel for your x-axis? Just 1,2,3,4...?

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 08:20 PM)
He's a passable outfielder for a few innings. Not ideal, but passable. He plays none particualry well but can play all three which is nice. Frank will be back soon in the grand scheme of things. Just a month or so away

Rowand. Podsednik. Harris. Perez. .... Options 1 thru 4 in CF. There is no reason to ever put Everett near CF again. EVER!
