Brandon looked good in that inning, throwing that change is starting to keep those hitters off balance much more.

Funny that wasn't the case after that 2 run homer. My how time flies. :bang

If he left the game right now, he'd be in position to win the game. That's a good start.

You know, my prediction for Bmac tonight in the other thread was 6 innings, 2 runs.

BMac started using the change after that homer. And it has worked.

If that change is working, hitters can't sit on his fastball, and it's making a world of difference.

When Bmac throws that nasty curve for strikes he is very tough. His last outing he was not doing that and tonight he is. Big difference.

Ha, is McCarthy gonna be another guy that needs to get knocked around in order to get serious? Kind of like Garcia, Contreras, and El Duque.

I'll say this: Can the Sox please score some more runs so it's not such a nail-biter tonight?

What the f*** was that? Do we have a cameraman that is a Flubs fan? They show the one sox fan that looks like he is a crackhead behind bars.

LOL

Man, our 3 and 4 hitters are all solo homerun or nothing.

Regardless of outcome, this is a good outing for McCarthy - and finally a quality start.

Answer: Nope.

Technically doesn't he need 1 more inning for it to be a quality start?

Ozzie should get someone warming up in the pen for this inning, in case McCarthy has trouble.

Yeah, and a lot can happen in 1 inning. It's better not to talk about it.

3 runs is not going to win this game i guarantee it.

Sox need at least a couple more on the board as I see the Tigers scoring 4 or 5 tonight.

especially with the hitters they have up this inning

Wow, Pods seems like he's playing incredibly close in CF. Saved us a leadoff hit, at least. Be careful with Pudge here.

oh boy heres pudge, hes hitting damn good against us

Dmitri Young has been brutal this series. Wonder if he still thinks the Tigers are going to win the division.

Rodriquez hits one to the wall again. He must be frustrated.
