Phew! Tough luck for Pudge tonight. It's a good thing he's a piece of s*** and it's hilarious to watch him get so close and come away with nothing.

One more inning for McCarthy? Then, get Politte in there.

Or Cotts. Either way the Sox are in a good position, and not many people would have given us hope of this.

How many homers would McCarthy have given up if he was pitching at the Cell tonight? :o

No, actually the last guy to reach base was hit by the ball.

Is it because McCarthy almost gave up another homer? Thankfully this is Comerica, or else it might be 4-3 right now. Gotta play the conditions.

Question; is Hermanson available to pitch tonight or not?

None, he would be the only guy there.

Konerko would have had another if we were playing anywhere else as well.

I'm one of them. But, there's still plenty of game left, and I'm gonna saying that. A lot can happen in 3 more innings.

People are such homers. It's ridiculous. If he was pitching at the Cell he would have given up 3 homers tonight.

And Jason Johnson would have too. Can you imagine his numbers if he pitched for us instead of Detroit?

After a leadoff single by AJ, Crede GIDP's and Uribe grounds out to end the inning. Brutal.

Didn't he go on the Bereavement List?

And Balta, you're right. I forgot about that fly out to CF.

The difference is that Jason Johnson GETS to pitch at Comerica for his home games. McCarthy will have to pitch at the Cell during home games.

Ozzie has to sit Crede for a couple games. That last AB was so bad. He isn't even getting one good swing per at bat.

And you hate half the players on this team and you think you're a sox fan, now that's ridiculous. Guess what he's not pitching at U.S. Cellular field, so shut it.
