Anyone notice lately that Pods has been swinging a lot more freely, instead of taking pitches and working a count? Hope the disease isn't spreading to him.

Good to see the Shingo we know and love returning to form. :D

Shingo looked great that inning, but I don't like his chances against the heart of the Tigers lineup next inning. We really need to score a run this inning.

I declare the tigers stop bringing in guys with era's under 3. Not cool.

How long is this f***ing fireworks show? Bugging the piss outta me.

How much longer can this go on? Someone get a basehit.

C'MON Anthony John!!!

As of last week, he had walked like 3 times in his previous 24 games. He's been a little more effective lately at drawing walks, but he's still a lot different at the plate than he was earlier in the year.

Anyone else notice A.J's strikezone is starting to look like Uribe's?

AJP trying to pull a low change-up off the outside corner. Just a terrible approach (btw, Donkey, I avoided saying swinging for the fences).

The same five people that said "Game Over" when Politte loaded the bases in the 8th would say it before he gave up the run in the inning he just got out of.

Yet, when the bases were loaded and Politte was pitching with no outs, I didn't see anyone saying that he would get out of it. It's nice when you just don't say anything and use hindsight, isn't it?

67 at-bats in april he had 11 walks.

102 walks in may and he had 12 walks.

75 at-bats in june and 7 walks.

Not a good sign.

This is like playoff baseball with all this pitching and lack of offense.

Weren't 2 or 3 of them in the same game? The blowout of the Cubs?

Who gives a damn?

It's a lot better to say nothing at all rather than, "Oh, this game is over" -- and I'm 100% positive that the posters who've been here for a while would agree.

Crede singles into left with one out.

The Tiger bullpen looks like an offensive line.

Crede with a 1-out single. Pinch-run Ozuna and have him steal 2nd base.

This is sickening. Really. Aight Uribe, might as well swing for the fences I guess

CREDE!!!

why not pinch run Ozuna?

Uribe wants to hit a 10-run homer.

Yes.

Gotta take a chance there Joe. Might as well. Pods isn't going to get an Xtra base hit.

why not pinch run Ozuna?

I suggested that as well and it would have been a good idea. Crede is SLOW.
