This game should have been in the hands of Cotts, Cliff, and Hermanson for the last two innings.  Why is it that when Ozzie has a bad managing game, it just seems to snowball that entire game?

Probably because he doesn't want to use up pretty much all of the pen.

If one of those guys comes in and get ths save, then he has saved one of those very important guys for the next couple of games by letting Shingo go 1 more. It was a good gamble.

Yeah, Shingo did a good job in this high-scoring game. My big problem was with Ozzie, and not Shingo. No reason to have Shingo pitch another inning there. Thankfully, we had a great relay to get the lead runner.
