One of my best friends is a Padres freak, and they love them some Hoffman in San Diego.

That ESPN poll just discouraged me...alot

Why waste your time on the ESPN poll? Vote 4 Pods, not a worthless ESPN poll.

Vote pods and oswalt we had and i hope still have a deal with them.

Im liking that this thread has been pinned for our pleasure.

I have voted Pods and Oswalt for about 150 times so far...

ok guys seriously... there are much fewer astros fans than red sox fans... i woulda thought we'd go that route first. plus at least on the ESPN poll oswalt has pretty much pulled away with it anyway...

i just think making a deal w/ sawks fans will be much more beneficial...

When does this poll end?

And I wouldn't expect help from the Red Sox fans. You'll just get some s*** replies about them being the real Sox and so forth. If they've already decided to vote for Hunter, they won't be swayed.

The Scott Reifert blog said today that the Sox players on the plane home last night were talking about how to get Pos voted in. One suggestion was Vote for Scott teeshirts, and they also are gonna set up a laptop in the dugout so the players could vote for him before stretching and batting practice. Which is way cool.

You guys know that you can just vote for Pods and no one else, right?

thats what i've been doing...

When I leave for the game I have automation software set up to just repetedly vote with the val. key '1'. Since it accepts any validation key, I doubt it will count them all but it's worth a shot since I won't be here to vote anyway.

The results that were posted above were that of an online poll conducted by ESPN.com/thepulse. They are not a reflection of the actual voting for the 32nd man which is being conducted by MLB.com.

what they say.

I don't think astro fans are helping us out. They are voting for "Houstonian" Carl Crawford :headshake . Is it too late to make a deal with padre fans instead?
