2 outs?

QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 05:09 PM)
FG shouldn't have started the 9th

This is true. But politte did not do his job ( which has been very rare this year)... that is the real reason we lost.

I blame Cotts, the guy who didn't get the job done.

Why Cotts...?? It's obviously all Paul's fault. ;)

Dingman is not a good name for a pitcher

would he have pitched differently with a 2 run lead? absolutely.

He had no control. Nice try.

How dare you not blame Ozzie...

I'm sorry. I'm just a "blame the players" type of guy.

That's why you don't bring closers (or relief pitchers designated as closers) in non-save situations. This happens all too often.

I won't chalk this up as a moral victory if we happen to fall short. Cleveland made their 9th inning comeback last series and it didn't help motivate them the following game.

you guys are the ones who are uneffing real.

you really think this would be the same pitched bottom of the ninth with just a two run lead?

come on you revisionists

Farnsworth would have come in with a 1 run lead, and he gets a little tight if you know what I mean. He would have given up at least 1 run.

I see the analysis now. I dont like Timo.

I dont think highly of Joe Borchard also.  I guess I dont like white guys either.

you can hate Timo all you want but saying if Gload name was Gloadriquez he would be on the ballclub is a racist remark.

Who knows, but it would have been nice to have had a chance being down only 1 or 2 runs

Highly unlikely here, but I'm hoping anyway.

At the VERY least, at least our offense woke up in time for Boston.  :D

If anything we'll have a little bit of mo.
