Illini leading 27-7 at the half

Brasic, PT, EB with rushing TD's

Brasic 13-16 in the air

If not for a blocked punt the Illini may have a shutout going. Also stud frosh Rashard Mendenhall has 2 carries for 19 yards.

As I type Adrian Peterson just bust a ridiculous run to win OU the game.

Gotta give ND credit today. While Michigan belw several chances, ND's defense made plays. I can't count how many passes they batted down or how many times they stuffed the run on 1st down, forcing Michigan to pass.

I was really surprised that the defenses ruled the day instead of the offenses. I figured it would be quite the opposite.

Chalk this one up to a good game by ND and Michigan's yearly f***up.

Go Irish.

Our defense really stepped it up today. It was defintely a close game (which we all figured it would be), and the turnovers made the difference. Quinn looked shaky all day, his passes weren't as precise as they usually are. Walker had a nice game, hopefully Mcknight will be ok (he did walk off under his own power) but i fear an acl injury.

One thing that bothered me about the game was the Michigan fans throwing stuff on the field. It's your home field, your rules, and you've made your bed in regards to Instant Replay. Sleep in it. Of course if this was at ND, they wouldn't have had to worry about IR :P. Anyways, tt just seemed really classless to me that they had to stop play twice for their shenanigans.

Either way, it's gonna be a madhouse here at ND next weekend. Can't wait. :D

I agree about the throwing s*** on the field. As much as I hated it, both of those calls were correct. Hopefully, both McKnight and Hart will be fine.

I was impressed with Michigan's defense. Minus Notre Dame's first drive, they played very well and kept Michigan in the game. Michigan's offense had problems though. Sophomore quarterback Chad Henne couldn't throw the ball today, Breston and Avant were virtually unheard of. Hart, the leading running back, and the Wolverines tight end (can't spell his name) were both injured as well as a couple of linemen.

Glad I didn't have to watch it. I had it on cbssportsline at work. Looked like Michigan stunk it up in the 1st half and than turned it around the 2nd half to turn the ball over in the red zone multiple times.

Read that Henne really f***ed up a few times.

Did Hart get hurt? Noticed Grady got the majority of the carries.

Yeah Hart got hurt.

I taped the game and FWD to the end of the game. 2 minutes left and Henne had a nice pass to Mannington who may of made a nice catch if the D-back didn't grab him and stop him from running. Obvious pass interference call, but oh well.

When do the fans toss crap on the field? Haven't seen it yet.

2 minutes left in first half, 16-0 Iowa State over Iowa. If both Iowa and Ohio State lose, I'll feel better about the Wolverine loss.

I think its funny. My friend thought Iowa was gonna blow Iowa State out after the close game they had with Illinois State. I kinda want Iowa to lose just so I can give him s*** and say that Illinois State put up a better fight

After both Instant replay decisions, play was stopped because Michigan fans were throwing things on the field.

Also, the Maize and Blue will put a serious hurting on the Irish.

Guess that depends on your definition of "hurting"

Good call Addy

Michigan pissed that one down their leg.

I think I'm gonna laugh my ass off if ISU beats Iowa though.

Go Clones!

Where's Chimpy? I assumed he'd be ready to trash talk Northwestern after I said NIU was overrated and NU would trounce em. 24-14 at the half, 21 straight Wildcat points. :D

Regardless, "serious hurting" in my mind is a 20+ pt win

And hell yeah, go Clones

NU and NIU going down to the wire.

Come on, Wildcat defense!

Garret Wolfe=wow

Phil Horvath=went to my school

GO NIU

Tyrell Sutton, TD number four! Over 210 yards of rushing. What a game! :headbang

lol I love it, ISU with the upset over Iowa. I'm gonna have to listen to all the Iowa fans call in the radio station WHO in Des Moines and hear them wine. The Michigan loss already feels better, now GO TEXAS!!

Horvath had a f***ing fabulous drive right there.

Gutsy call to go for 2...fails.

Yes indeed

Haha, IU in a battle with Nicholls State. Has Nicholls State even practiced in like a week?

I think they had 1 practice in the last 2 weeks. IU pulled it out by driving 89 yards and scoring with under a minute left. Truly pathetic. Hopefully this is the low point in Bloomington. Sad "talent" down there.
