You should check his Postseason ERA from last year.  Mr. October is a thing of previous Octobers.  The man is pushing the old age home.

 

He gave up 3 runs in the 5 innings against an awesome Boston offense on the road and would have had the win if Rivera didn't blow the save. This is also when he was hurt.

 

He has a 2.63 postseason ERA in his career.

Having Timo DH is the same as having Borchard in RF last year. Their stats are very similiar. Except LTP could hit the long ball.

This is frustrating watching our hitters miss straight, 90 mph fastballs and watching his floating curveball.

 

Of all the possible 1-2 starters playing on playoff contenders, Mussina should be the ONE you'd expect to string together a few big innings.

Maybe he is going through another tired arm period. Another DL stint a coming.

I said yesterday I'd rather have Borchard playing than Timo. At least if Borchard hits the ball, he's a threat to contribute to the offense.

In all honesty, what do people think our lead will be after this week? We have 6 vs Yanks and Red Sox, while a red hot Indians team has 6 vs KC and Tampa. I'm hoping it's above 10 after Sunday.
