I feel like I'm watching funny Geiko commercials with small breaks of baseball in between.

I like the one with the cavemen. :P

This offense isn't going to do anything in the playoffs. Disgusting to watch.

We're missing these pitches by a foot. Not only that, but the crowd has already been taken out of the game.

I had a pregame prediction of 4 hits and 9 Ks and no runs for Santana. He looks to break double digits with the guys tonight.

Changeup pitchers against a pull only softball home run hitting team. We may not get to 4 hits.

Anderson should ask for that ball too -- his first strike out against Santana!

First of many in his career if he flails at Santanas changeup.

I've said it yesterday, despite his two hits, Anderson has taken several TERRIBLE swings. This is something you'd never see from a Minnesota callup. Yesterday against Nathan it was almost as if he'd never seen a 95 mph fastball in his life.

I put the over/under for no hit innings for Santana at 7

DON't PITCH TO LECROY!

Way to go Buehrle!

This is f***in' pathetic, no offense and our pitching has been s***ty.

let's play bean ball!! A brawl will pull us out of this!!

I'm gonna say 5.2

Well its now 2-0.

Now the softball team will try and tie it every single time they get up.

Here comes the flood of Ks and popups and lazy grounders to the left side.

If we're going to lose, I really want the Sox to get no-hit. I don't think that makes me a bad fan. Rather, hopefully it would be a slap in our faces, and wake some people the f*** up. As long as it's not a Cubs pitcher, I don't mind it.

2 runs off Buehlre through 4 innings is hardly s***ty.

If LeCroy is the only Twin who hits Buehlre we'll be in good shape. Now, the problem is a key point in winning baseball games is scoring more than your opponent. With Santana on the mound, and our recent offensive woes, might as well be a 6 run lead for Minnesota.

We need Moose Scoweren in the booth; he's our spark.

That's why Crede should be in the line up -- he was made for this kind of game!

AUGUST 2005=THE ARRIVAL OF CORPSEBALL 2005

Thank god we have this lead. The only thing that may save us this year in still winning the division.

Almost gone by Carl :9

Can someone explain to me how Buehrle gives up two HRs to the doughboy of baseball?!? And can anyone tell the offense to look for Santana's fastball ONLY? Christ, do they not read scouting reports?!?

Buehrle post All-Star break:

38.2 IP 45 H 8 BB 17 SO 4.42 ERA

Pretty mediocre if you ask me.

Here comes a series of teases for your pleasure. Classic Corpseball is also a series of warning track power. ALMOST enough to get on the board. But alas not enough.

I am talking bout of pitching during the losing streak.

Keep swinging for the fences :sleep

cool...now we're swinging early in the count. Don't want to tire out Santana.
