I don't know that you are wrong persay, but considering that Burly didn't give up a run in his last start against them, that was just kind of surprising to hear.

I don't think MB ended up pitching against them the last time? Wasn't that the rainout?

BMac was Friday, Garland (who still has that crook in his neck from the Mench shot) was the starter Sunday.

Our ace has lost his chance at the Cy Young, I fear.

Because KW doesn't want to mess with the team's "chemistry" and actually give his team a chance at a world title

hell why piss off an average team with a big heart. We can win on Ozzies spirit alone.

Yep after another loss he will be basically out of the running.

Cleveland 7 Detroit 7 bottom of the 4th. I have a bad feeling things are going to get very, very tight the next couple of weeks.

Indians have the lead again, and our threatening to score more runs. Their offense is simply amazing right now. At least they face Johan this weekend.

Maybe the Penquin can get a hit.

I'm sorry, but this team ain't winning s*** w/ this offense.

If KW thinks we can hold off a superior talented Indians team the rest of the way, more power to him. It's his ass on the line, not ours.

This might cheer some of you a little up although I doubt it. Cubs 0 Dodgers 6, top 2.

9-7 Indians

I smell 7 game lead

If the Sox don't win the division, KW and Ozzie should be shown the door.

I am scared as hell of the Indians next year. Even this year it looks like it may be close at the end if we dont start hitting the ball. Offense is most def. the #1 priority this offseason.

whats interesting is the Tigers got 5 in the first tonight and the Tribe didn't even blink. Came back and got 6 in the first, both of those teams can hit better than us. We are good against bad teams fortunatly there are alot of those. We will need to matchup against the Angels, Yanks, redsox, oakland, even cleveland. All can outhit us any night.

umm...no, don't care really. How long have they been out of it?

We can really lose a lot of games in this series. Wait, is it 3 or 4 games? Either way, we're probably losing a few games in the standings this week.

Another pitcher no hitting this aenmic lineup.

Now Hawk used the virus line about how bad hitting is contagious, I have a flashback from the guy giving the speeches in the Knights clubhouse in the Natural.

*sigh*

So we were supposed to give up EVERYTHING we have... based on Tampa holding us hostage, or the Reds telling us no?

No one moved, because the market wasn't conducive to making a move.

Put a pitchfork in em!! :fthecubs

And yes, our offense is struggling.

No doubt.

But I doubt one bat makes that much difference.

Buehrle needs to step up because right now he has been brutal. He is not an ace right now.

The only two worse offensive teams than the Sox in the AL are Seattle and KC, both enjoying the basement.

Nice at bat for Uribe!

Base hit get us back in this!
