This is plain bad managing.  We all know Marte is the shakiest pitcher in our pen.  Why doesn't Ozzie see it.

 

Now he's forced to bring in Hermanson. He could of just stuck with Jenks and not worried about pitching Hermanson tonight. What a waste.

To people who are blaming Marte for this he is partly responsible however it's also the managers responsibility to put your players in the best possible chance to succed. And by putting Marte in either the 9th inning or against lefties he isn't doing that.

that's absolutely ridiculous.

 

he has a top 5 bullpen to work with, but he keeps using marte and cotts as specialists for some reason, not using jenks to his potential, as well as driving hermy into the ground.
