Konerko walks... one out.

Paulie draws a 1 out walk.

Santana seems to have lost a bit of control.

2-0 count for Rowand

Wow. Zone's shrinking. You better take 2 aaron.

That's tough. 3-1 change.

I'll second that.

Count goes full to Aaron

With McCarthy giving up quite a few deep fly balls lately, I'd strongly consider letting Cotts start the 8th inning.

Rowand hits into a inning ending double play.

I'd rather see Bmac than Cotts, and I bet that if bmac lets up anything, people will blame Ozzie for leaving him in.

I would agree if we had scored 3 or 4 runs.

Why is Rowand hitting above Dye in the lineup?

rowand.

How about every other game thread? Do you leave, and then just happen to come back when bad things happen?

Yeah, how dare they be upset with their manager when they're on the verge of an epic baseball "collapse"? But that's not the issue now, the Sox have to find a way to win this game.

McCarthy starting the 8th

Good to see B-Mac keep doing what he's been doing. Personally I'd leave him in to start the inning.

believe it or not, qwerty did not give up the homerun.
