Good point but some our guys still didn't even get the bunt down so what did it matter where Figgins was? It's also possible to bunt to the 1st base side.

According to the pregame, he aslo practices sliding headfirst into second base wearing a Superman cape.

Yup, I'm just saying, they have to be willing to pull it back and take a cut if the Angels charge like yesterday. They just kept trying to bunt, no matter how close he was.

They might not have shown the same angle on tv, but at the game, you could see that Figgins was even closer when Pods was up than he was for Rowand's AB.

i am just hoping that mccaskey isnt throwing out the first pitch.
