I agree with you 100 percent.  But when we got into the position we were in heading into the Penn State game, things change.  And we have simply rolled over and died the last 2 games.

Overall a good game for the buckeyes. Faltered a little down the stretch and almost let Illinois get back in the game. A HUGE win in the Big Ten and a great game by Dials.

This wasn't the game that killed us, it was penn st. But this turned into a must win if we wanted any shot at winning the big ten.

Yeah, I guess. We didn't guard them on 3's, yes they shot great, but for the most part we weren't guarding them, which makes me mad more than anything. Ah well, can't win the league every year, it just especially sucks here since we had a chance the last 2 games and completely just died both times.

You guys should have and could have won the penn state game, but you really had no chance today.

Just think, next year Ohio State is going to be even better. Not going to be easy to defeat a club with perhaps two of the nations best players in Oden/Conley complimenting a squad where majority are returning next year.

Yeah, all of the above are seniors. They basically only return Lewis and Butler who are both good players but that really isn't a whole lot.

The Big 10 is going to lose a ton of talent after this season. The conference will likely be down next season. The ACC is going to be absolutely loaded next season, with Duke, UNC, GT, and others having some ridiculously talented teams.

It's easy to guard the 1 man fast break in the halfcourt. He has absolutely no 1-on-1 skills on offense. It's fine, they like little guards like him in the NBDL.

They have the Fab 5 coming in next year anyway. They will have the most talented starting lineup and their bench won't be a joke. I see them as being the most talented team, hands down in the nation. As far as that translating into the most wins, we'll see.

I'll take UNC as the most talented start team next year, with Lawson, Hansbrough, Wright, Terry, and Danny Green or Wayne Ellington. Also, Ga Tech will have superb talent with Crittenton, Clinch, Thad Young, Morrow, and Dickey/Smith.

KU is up there with Rush, Chalmers, Robinson, Kaun, Giles, Case, Wright, Collins, Jackson and probably Darrel Arthur.

Absolutely Kansas will be loaded. I think Rush will go pro though, no matter what he says in the press. Kansas is an absolute joy to watch on TV, as their freshman are improving every game. I still laugh at the person who said Julian was having a s***ty season. My prediction is that Chalmers will be the best point guard in cbball next year.

Another year with Rush could mean KU is cutting down the nets next year. I agree Chalmers is going to be the best, he is so fast. I cannot wait to see him ahd Collins play together, makes me shudder. They are so much fun to watch now, just a bunch of kids having fun together.

Yeah Ohio State next year will be interesting. They have a ton of talent come in of course, but they also lose a lot. They will probably be a typical loaded young team who beats teams they shouldn't and lose to teams they shouldn't.

Im excited to see if Oden is a Robert Traylor or an Emeka Okafor type.
