Podsednik is playing flyballs like a little leaguer.

That is his rendition of Peter Pan, or Lord of the Outfield!

Look out Michael Flatley!

Can someone point me to the game thread? I didn’t realize this was the “argue about Pods” thread.

It's a boring game

Pierzynski, why were you swinging?

RUN AJ RUN!

AJ turned an easy walk into a strikeout. Oh well.

Crede got a hit! Here we go!

Whatever guys,  fathom, lets just enjoy this game and stop the pods argument...agree to disagree.  Deal?

Oh, of course. I was just sharing in the conversation about what has caused Pods to be ineffective. I actually thought he showed pretty solid base running on Dye's grounder, as he showed some conservatism.

Marte?

6-2=4. Thanks for playing McCarver.

I like it.

Why the f*** is Crede stealing?

Ugh! That top of the inning seemed doomed as soon as AJP swung at the 3-1 pitch over his head. Big inning here for Garcia with 2-3-4.

He was safe with that Major League slide!

WTF? Where is the controversy?

I like it.

You like the 3rd slowest runner on our team trying to steal? Okay.

why do bears hibernate? Know one will ever know.

Since Joe has been blessed with the powers of the rally crede he thinks he's super fast now too, not the case Joe.

Puts Pods back up leadoff the next inning.

Cuase if he gets caught, Pods is leading off the 7th, and there is little chance Pods gets a gapper off Shields and even less chance we string together 2 hits against Shields.

It got us a run in the 3rd.

The funny thing is if he slide right he might have made it!

Was almost as bad as Erstad's assklown slide into 3rd.

Crede was stealing to get in scoring position. If he gets thrown out, which he did, then Pods leads off the next inning. Its not a bad play.

But there's almost 0% chance that slow Joe gets the stolen base.
