People called him a clown, an idiot, and things MUCH worse than that.

What he is is the FIRST manager to lead a White Sox team to the World Series since 1959, and the FIRST White Sox manager to have to win TWO playoff series to get there!!!

Is he a PERFECT manager? No.

Is he a LEADER? YES.

So to you, Ozzie, I say:

Congratulations!

Enjoy it!

and then......

GET US FOUR MORE WINS!!!!

:drink :cheers :headbang :notworthy :gosox1: :gosox2: :gosox3: :gosox4: :gosoxretro:

There is no question Ozzie Guillen and Kenny Williams are the biggest reason why we are in the World Series now. We all owe them our gratitude.

He's taking us where no one else could.

And he also provided us with more entertainment than anyone else while doing it.

Hail to the Ozzeroo!!!!

Ozzie Guillen :)

I bashed the hell out of him because he kept bringing Jose back out there today. Once again he was right and I'm a sucky manager. OZZIE :headbang

OZ! :headbang :cheers

He's a crazy mo-fo, but you can't argue with the results right now.

He's not crazy, he's CRAFTY.

His role in molding a team that the "experts" picked to finish 3rd or 4th into the BEST team in the A.L., both regular season and postseason, cannot be understated.

He holds the guys accountable for their performance, but shows more loyalty to them and confidence in them than the fans would. He has a LONG leash, but demands results. AND he's one of them, and they KNOW IT. He's in the bunker with them, and takes the shots with them or FOR them, and that breeds respect!

He's gonna give me a heart attack, but that's a White Sox Winner!!!

Ozzie is da man, he can say whatever he wants. He completely earned it.

ozzie - the man.

To Ozzie and Kenny both :cheers :cheers :headbang :headbang

We'll all just shut up now. :D

Many times, the optimal strategy is the least expected. Ozzie is a great manager for post-steroidal Baseball.

Ozzie's awesome. :gosox3: :gosox2: :gosox3:

i have to tell you that i would suck ozzies cock now and i am so far from gay . . . this team rules'

Im glad to say that I was on the Ozzie bandwagon the whole time... just like I was on the Garland bandwagon and Cotts one :P But yeah today I was questioning when he brought in Contreras for the 8th... but than I wanted him out there in the 9th so was happy about that.

IT'S NO LONGER SMART BALL.

IT'S f***ING GENIUS BALL.

OZZIE...YOU DID A LOT OF THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE...BUT GOD DAMNIT...I HAVE JUST PURPOSELY FORGOTTEN ALL OF THEM.

WOW.

THANK YOU OZZIE.

I love Ozzie. I'm so damn happy for him.

Great posts by all of you!

I've loved Oz all the way through,

and forever more will eat my own words about Kenny.

I thought he was a buffoon early on as GM. He wasn't. He isn't.

Good job Oz and Kenny and good call chisoxfan when you told us all to shut up after Game One. You said this team wouldn't quit.

The team was stale in Game One and hot as hell after that!!

4 complete games in a row? You've got to be kiddin me!

Absolutely terrified when Garland and Count kept coming out, but they held it down.

Him standing back, acknowledging the fans, and letting his players enjoy the moment brought tears to my eyes.

Hope he keeps his word and has to retire in another 2 weeks.

I'd settle for shaking the man's hand. :)

And maybe a big sloppy kiss.

Might slip him some tongue. . . :P

4 more wins before I start crying on my knees. 4 more and I know they can do it. Whoever we face is going to be a great matchup no doubt about it.

Definitley some love for Ozzie. I love that guy and I can't believe what he has done with our team. Thank you ozzie, thank you for a special season thus far, but your job isn't done yet. 4 more oz, 4 more!!
