I am just speaking from experience. Timo almost always swings at the first pitch. Usually it's a pop-up to shallow center field though.

What do you mean why? The guy has had 1 live at-bat since the 21st of September. There is absolutely no reason not to take a pitch or two there, considering your the worst player in the Major Leagues, and the likliness of him getting the job done was slim and none, and slim was nowhere to be found.

That was the only thing i didn't like from ozzie tonight. Hermanson had no business facing lane, cotts had a huge advantage over lane.
