Foods you can't stomach

Featured Replies

I think we've had a favorite foods thread at some point, but how about foods you can't stand.

1) cottage cheese, i don't even understand what it is, and it tastes like wet cardboard.

2) mushrooms, i love vegetables, but this is a dirty fungis.

Olives.

Ramen.

Brussel Sprouts... like spoiled cabbage.

After a food poisoning issue, I have a personal grudge against cold, boiled shrimp.

It's early still but so far I love everything you guys have mentioned. I can't think of anything that I hate. Well, except for Spaghettios. Blech!!

cooked spinach (i like raw on salad, etc.)

lima beans

liver

Mushrooms

Sharp/strong tasting cheese

any and all seafood

pesto (result of a rather unfortunate food poisoning--one trial learning baby!)

creamed corn

alfredo sauce

Wow, I like a lot of the things listed (mushrooms, cottage cheese, Brussel sprouts)

I really can't stand black olives. My wife likes them on pizza, but I can't even stand a pizza that has black olives on half, so I make the pizza decision. (The only one she lets me make. )

Black Olives = good

Green Olives = :puke

--Cranberry Sauce

--Pork-N-Beans

--Olives

--Corn Beef and Cabbage. Every St. Patricks Day I avoid the entire lower level of my house because the smell is nauseating.

--Galumpki. Usually sits within my refrigerator for weeks before my dad (only person willing to eat it) finishes the entire meal.

--Cranberry Sauce

for the longest time as a kid i wouldn't touch the stuff, but over the past few years, i've grown to absolutely love it. It was honestly the thing I was looking forward to at thanksgiving the most.

there are 2 things I hate in life. Cantelope and black licorice

^^^^ I love how cranberry jelly looks out of the can.

tastes good too.

I hate seafood, except tuna, some shrimp, and salmon. I hate sauerkraut.

Yeah, I still like everything mentioned. But then, there's spaghettios (which I have learned to at least tolerate if you add ground beef to 'em and LOTS of parmasean cheese).

Never heard of galumpki, but I bet I'd eat it.

My wife is funny because she has certain foods she won't eat based on texture.

yogurt with fruit in it (because it feels like snot)

mushrooms (because it's like rubber)

soggy cereal

Radishes. They sting and are very bitter, :puke

I know what she means, gummy bears taste like phlemg.

In increasing order of "grossness":

1) Olives

2) Black Licorice

3) Celery

Yes, celery: the solid-food equivalent to water (sans ice-cubes of course :D ).

celery with some peanut butter on it is almost heaven

Mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, anything that ends in melon or remotely resmbles a melon, cucumbers, salsa, and I tried my Uncle's pickled herring once. Never again.

Fruits and all vegetables (minus potatoes and corn)

Yea, I'm not a healthy eater
