March 7, 200620 yr From Scott Merkin's Sox Mailbag: I want to thank the correspondents who quickly wrote in to correctly identify Bobby Jenks' in-game entrance music as 'Boom' by P.O.D. Jenks actually came up to me with the answer after last week's Mailbag already ran, but he also told me that he's open to a change if someone comes up with a better song suggestion. Anyone have a better song to suggest for Jenks' entrance?
March 7, 200620 yr QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 01:57 AM) From Scott Merkin's Sox Mailbag: Anyone have a better song to suggest for Jenks' entrance? anything except P.O.D? Someone does need to come up with something better though...like Hermanson coming into Back in Black...Shingo with the gong...Trevor Hoffman coming into...was it Hells Bells...I cant remember, but you get my drift.
March 7, 200620 yr "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes or "Search and Destroy" by Iggy Pop and the Stooges. Of course "Enter Sandman" is a far more likely pick.
March 7, 200620 yr Drowning Pool - Bodies or Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-A-Lot I'm Too Sexy - Right Said Fred Big Balls - AC/DC Do Ya Think I'm Sexy - Rod Stewart
March 7, 200620 yr Hoffman and Rivera already have the two best entrance songs with Hell's Bells and Enter Sandman. Jenks would have to go with something by Metallica or Mudvayne or something.
March 7, 200620 yr Since Hawk calls him Bad Bobby Jenks, I submitted my answer of "Bad To The Bone" by George Thoroughgood. If you've never heard it, give it a try. The opening guitar is powerful.

March 7, 200620 yr I honestly like his suggestion. POD is good with me. Boom is a fitting song too since that's how his fastball comes out of his hand. Very good song IMO.

March 7, 200620 yr QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 09:00 AM) Snow - Informer Fixed that for you. Do any closers use "Welcome to the Jungle"? I would probably be the only one, but I think Marilyn Mansons "Get your Gunn" would be awesome.
March 7, 200620 yr QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 08:23 AM) Fixed that for you. Do any closers use "Welcome to the Jungle"? Do you know who Eric Gagne is?
March 7, 200620 yr QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 09:26 AM) Do you know who Eric Gagne is? No, I have absolutely no idea Kal. Could you tell me about him? Edited March 7, 200620 yr by kyyle23
March 7, 200620 yr How about "Whoop that Trick"?? If they could find a part clean enough to play that is...
