Bobby Jenks' entrance music

Featured Replies

I like what he has now, they just need to blast it more and maybe start it in a better spot.

C'mon, him coming out of the gate as they blast "BOOM! here comes the boom!" is pretty awesome.

It's no gong though.

No offense, but who hasn't heard Bad To The Bone?

Who hasn't heard Hells Bells or Enter Sandman?

My vote gets f***in' in the Bushes by Oasis

Or the last minute and a half of A Poor Man's Memory by Explosions in the Sky (I don't know if this song was in Friday Night Lights, I never saw it).

I think seven nation army would be sweet because of the beginning...but I know my senior year of high school last year when i came into pitch i had them play Billy Squire's The Stroke, ha

here comes the boom-nelly

Oddly enough last time I was at a game, they briefly played House of Pain's "Jump Around" before playing Boom for Bobby. I really wanted them to continue Jump Around...the beginning of that song is pretty good for this type of situation. But alas, they stuck with the Koch music.

From Scott Merkin's Sox Mailbag:

Anyone have a better song to suggest for Jenks' entrance?

I liked his entrance song. I like one particular verse. "Here come the boys from the south." get it south side?? :chair :gosox3:

How about Vince McMahon's theme "No Chance in Hell" I'm not sure who sings it, but its bad ass and would fit him well.

For Whom the Bell Tolls-Metallica

COWBOYS FROM HELL

-Pantera

Beat on the Brat with a baseball bat-Ramones.

Anarchy in the UK-Sex Pistol (I want to be an Anarchist!!!!!)

What Hath God Wraught by the Soledad Brothers.

I just envision a fat man jogging when I hear that synchronicity of a draw on a harmonica and drum beating. Splice in "I want the big boy" somewhere in there, instant gold.

30 posts in and no Queen mention? Sad.

"Thank you SS for asking. I think the lovely music they played at by coronation would be perfect"

Here's an idea. Why not turn off the music. Let Jenks be the old school guy who comes in to the applause of the crowd? How the hell did this game survive without musical intros

So was the radar gun accurate last night?

I ask because I don't think I saw Jenks hit above 93 mph all night, plus his curveball didn't look nearly as sharp. Any chance we are looking at Bobby with a dead arm?

raining blood - Slayer

go ahead and download it, it'll give you chills within the 10 seconds of thinking of someone coming out to the soundtrack of hell it'self.
