I will be there as well, can't wait to see these 2 go at it. I am predicting a 35 minute game with these 2 pitching.

leaving around 2ish here, so hopefully no later than around 4:30.

I think that Santana bounces back today, but the Sox still win 3-2.

I'm hoping that the game's a great pitcher's duel because I'm leaving work an hour early to see it.

7 hours til 1st pitch woo-hoo!

LET'S GO WHITE SOX

CLAP, CLAP

CLAP CLAP CLAP :gosox3: :bringit

lets go sox.

they say liriano is the next santana....

Liriano> 0.96 era, 9.1 ip, 15k's

thats crazy

Tonight's going to be a toughie, lets hope Thome and company can provide enough offense for Mark Buehrle.

FROSTY!!!!!

Burls goes CG on dat azz tonight. Sox 3 Twinkies 1

I'll be in attendance tonight. If you sit in the row below or in front of me, prepare to catch miscellaneous souveniers (tshirts, balls, etc) deflecting off of my not so supple hands. :banghead :P

Any sell-outs this weekend?? I know Saturday is pretty close.

Had a pretty solid run last year on starting these things, and since everyone else is scared of Johan, I'll get us going here!!

Santana (0-2, 5.71) vs. Buehrle (2-0, 2.25)

Not the best track record against Johan obviously, but I didn't realize it was this bad last year:

The crafty left-hander actually went 4-0 (16-7 overall), with two shutouts and a 0.92 ERA, in five starts against Chicago last season. The White Sox hit just .175 against Santana with 44 strikeouts.

:gosox3:

Hopefully with Thome, and what seems to be improved plate discipline by the rest of our hitters, we can turn the tide against him this year.

What's the record since you lost the 'stache?

5 hours til blast off, I'm geeked!

What should out hitter's approach be at the plate v. Santana? Attack and be agressivbe early in the count? Work the count? Close your eyes, swing and pray that you hit it?

hmm.

I lost it : Sunday, so

4-0!

Were unstoppable without the stache!

Can anyone tell me a way to get there avoiding the Dan Ryan? My first sox im going 2 in like 2 seasons so dont really know the area well.

where are you coming from?

Should be a good one. Johan is as hittable right now as he'll ever be but I'm sure he's still going to throw a good game against us because he always does. Hopefully we can manufacture a few runs and pull this out. Also, I wouldn't be shocked to see Pablo start tonight, iirc he actually did pretty decent against Santana last year.

only a couple hours until I head off, go sox!

itd be great to beat santana
