Guillen expects Thome to return Saturday night against Vicente Padilla, Texas' right-handed starter. But Thome will be re-evaluated before the contest.

Maybe I just don't pay enough attention to the fans, but I've never seen the wave performed at a Sox game, and I typically sit out on the concourse in Center or Right.

 

That said, I'm looking forward to Vazquez pitching.

The wife and I will be there. We've got to turn this streak around! The Sox are 6-1 this season with me in attendance.

With the exception of Gload in place of Thome, this may be our best offensive lineup. Ozuna at SS is the only possible way to make it more offensively potent. If Javy K's a lot of Rangers, which is a possible, this is a good risk.
