June 19, 200619 yr I seen this over at WSI thought i would post here and get everyone's perspective. LF Jose Tabata we will acquire him from NYY for Garcia CF Anderson RF Fields 3B Crede SS (trade/FA) 2B Iguchi 1B Konerko DH Thome C AJ Bench Stewart Mackowiak Ozuna Cintron Owens Rotation Contreras Buehrle Garland Vazquez McCarthy Bullpen Jenks Cotts Thornton Riske Ryan Wagner from the reds for Tracey Lumsden(will work his way into the rotation much like Buehrle once Vazquez's deal is up) Fields/Tabata are interchangeable, and Tabata will keep the Venezuela conection. Thats my take on it
June 19, 200619 yr It's so easy to predict what a Kenny Williams team will look like in a few years since he's not an aggressive gm. Edited June 19, 200619 yr by Rowand44

You forgot that K-Dub will have re-acquired Robbie Alomar III for the 15th time in 2 years and that JC (Jurassic Carl) Everett will be the DH and still won't believe that the forkball ever existed.

June 19, 200619 yr I've kept quiet for awhile, but, this probably takes the cake as the most moronic thread on this site for quite some time.

June 19, 200619 yr I wouldn't even want to attempt to guess that. For that matter, I wouldn't even want to attempt to guess how the team will look on Opening Day 2007.

June 20, 200619 yr We don't know if Fields can play left yet, but it's assumed he can play right? Where is Broadway? Busted prospect? With KW at the healm and being in a win now mode, it's impossible to know how anything will turn out. Edited June 20, 200619 yr by G&T
June 20, 200619 yr This thread is ridiculous, but I'll put good money that Tabata won't be in the majors for any team in 2008. At least not opening day.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 03:49 PM) I seriously doubt New York lets David Wright go. Good point. He will be a robust 37 and ready for his prime so we may have to look elsewhere or coerce Joe Crede to get a 9th vertebrae fusion surgery and lace them up again before his 42nd birthday.

My bad, didn't notice the 2020 thing, thought you were still on the 2008 topic. Obviously I only half read it.
