He's throwing strikes so far and not putting guys on via the walk -- which is more than can be said for Garland in the early innings yesterday. Most of the hits were bloop little b**** hits in this game.

 

Until he served up the meatball that Ramirez crushed. His problem is that he explodes because one thing goes wrong for him. This guy has had years to prove he's worth something, but he just continues to suck.

 

Hopefully the offense is going to score a lot today. Good start this inning.

They should boo AJ everwhere he goes.

I feel a change in mo coming already. Hopefully Vas decides to be a pitcher and not a thrower the rest of the game. Me personally, I'm a lover not a fighter.

The starting pitchers deserve every criticism they get. Two, maybe three, of them have been awful, and one of them is on the mound right now.

Vazquez always seems to be better after the first inning.....i bet his ERA is 10+ in inning 1 but probably 3-4 in innings 2-6

There's a difference between legitimate criticism and saying "Maybe we can package him and Anderson for Vizcaino".

The question is, is Vazquez going to get the extra 5 inches off the plate that Droopy is getting so far. f***ing Barrett would be sitting right behind the left handed hitters batter box if he could.

 

Just because the catcher, catches it and doesnt move his mitt, doesnt make it a strike.

Vasquez's next inning is big. If he plans on giving up more runs, this games becomes a lot tougher. If has a good inning, stringing a couple of hits together could tie the game for the sox.

I can see that one, yes. But, we'll catch s*** for pointing out that Vazquez has no idea how to put hitters away with two strikes, or that he blows up when one thing doesn't go his way, or that he's done this s*** his entire career and it doesn't seem that it's changing.
