Yes! Great job by Sandy. I wouldn't be shocked if we see the squeeze now.

He had a few walk-off sac flies for the Sox.

Well you, Pinella, and Leyland all got it right.

The pitch out happens, and Crede is hung up.

there is absolutely no reason to squeeze there

I just had a feeling Ozzie was going to try and get cute.

horrible call by ozzie even pinella predicted it

ok ozzie, that's your one mistake allowed today. manage your pen, and we'll be fine

Screw it. Go deep Juan.

balls

Get on for BA juannie

get Jenks ready in case he needs to go in during the 8th.

At least instant offense Anderson leads off next inning.

Thornton in the 8th....Jenks in the 9th?

That's what, 2 times in 3 games where a team has pitched out on the first pitch and it's turned into an out? It's nice to be aggressive, yeah, but we need to plan these out a little better.

even a safety squeeze there is so much better

god, that run is just too important

you know they are appealing to second to get a read on the hitter, and then you go ahead and leave the squeeze on

is this baseball 101

When Dye scored, the TV showed Ozzie chopping on his left arm. It looked like a vehement sign to Joey. If Leyland saw that, it might explain the correct guess. When I saw the chop, I figured it meant a squeeze.

Some good observations about the squeeze in the last few posts.

See, we're nice enough to not even hurt Kenny's ERA.

MacDougal still in for now. I have no problem with that.

MMac out to start the 8th.

I wouldn't mind seeing Mack PH for Pods later this inning, or at least in LF in Top 9.

Let's Go Easy Heat

Excellent job by MacDougal. That Inge stuff is insane.

4 runs, 0 earned. That's impressive. It's been Detroit that's been taking advantage of these sorts of gifts all year, we did it all last year, suddenly it looks like we're doing some of that again and Detroit's making some.

How MacDougal can throw a two-seamer that fast boggles my mind. 97 with movement, sheesh.

Yep, his stuff is very impressive. We just need him to stay healthy.
